Government records — building permits, development applications, liquor licence applications, tender notices — originate from public open-data programs and remain governed by their own licences: the Open Government Licence – Toronto, Open Government Licence – Ontario and Open Government Licence – Canada. Nothing here restricts your rights under those licences; obtain those records from the source programs.

GroundIntel derived intelligence — classifications, benchmark distributions, signal detection and first-seen timestamps, signal-to-permit matches, lead-time measurements, company resolution, scores, rankings, interpretations and the compilation of all of the above — is created and maintained by GroundIntel and is protected as an original compilation and analysis. © 2026 GroundIntel.

What you may do

Read the site, share links, quote individual figures with attribution ("Source: GroundIntel, groundintel.ca"). Search engines are welcome to crawl what robots.txt allows.

What you may not do

Systematically scrape, bulk-download or reproduce GroundIntel derived intelligence; republish substantial portions of the site's computed data (benchmarks, rankings, signal histories, match records) in any product or dataset; misrepresent GroundIntel data as your own collection; or circumvent access controls or rate limits. Automated access beyond normal reading is offered only by agreement — contact us via Pro.

No warranty

Data is presented as-is, as an interpretation of public records that can themselves lag, change or contain errors. Declared permit values are declarations, not contract prices. Nothing on this site is professional, legal or investment advice, and GroundIntel accepts no liability for decisions made on it.
